I know this group has gotten some criticism for sound an awful lot like Joy Division and New Order, but I don't mind this at all -- it manages to be really catchy and enjoyable, and captures the essence of those two groups really well, and that (and this sound) is something I think we could use ( Read more... )

And in other music-related news: High Violet, the album from The National that was released last week, just debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200.  Words cannot express how excited I got when I heard the news.  You go, guys!  :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Tuesday 5/4: Last response paper for AFP
Thursday 5/6: Last GIS lab
Friday 5/7: GIS final project due (5 PM)
Monday 5/10: AFP take-home exam due (8-12 pp., 4 PM)
